Job Seeker FAQs

How soon can I start working?
Job availability changes frequently. Once you complete our application & interview process, you may be considered for appropriate positions based on your preferences, experience and skills.
What do I pay for your services?
As an applicant, you will not pay for any of the services Protech Staffing provides.
What is involved in the application process?

You can complete a preliminary application at www.protechjobs.com. You will be asked to provide complete work history information as well as asked preference of shift, type of work and preference of location.

After the application is complete, you may be invited to interview with a Staffing Specialist. In the interview, you will have the opportunity to discuss your skills, experience and what you are looking for in your next position. The Staffing Specialist will discuss not only what specific skills you have, but also find out more about your experiences in job-related settings.

Protech Staffing conducts reference checks with previous employers and criminal background checks as well as Everify.

Once you have completed the interview, we will review and assess job opportunities that you may qualify for.

What if I am not interested in a certain position when it is offered? Is it all right to turn it down?
Not every job is going to meet your expectations. If you are not interested in a position we offer, you are free to decline. We will continue to review positions based on your skills and preferences and notify you immediately as they become available.
What if I am on an assignment and decide it is not for me?

We realize not every job will be a good fit for you. Sometimes you will not know that until you have tried the position. If you are on an assignment and find it will not work for you, we ask that you contact us immediately. Please don’t walk out of the assignment without notifying anyone as this is important for us to be able to place you in future assignments.

You may be asked to stay at an assignment long enough for us to find a replacement, but we will attempt to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. As with any interaction, communication is the key. We expect open communication from our Temp employees, and they can expect the same from the Protech Staffing office.

How can I stay informed about open positions?
Our positions will be posted on our website and updated regularly, so check our job board frequently. We ask that you keep us informed if your availability, or interests change, or you gain any additional experience, certifications or education and we will update your profile. And remember to call us once a week to be placed on our available list.
